One of the goals of this project is to provide resources to the community to help in such difficult times. The year 2020 has brought to attention the needs of everyday people that often goes unnoticed. Assumptions have often been made in wide technology use for school and work. Not everyone has access to these privileges, and going to school virtually can be almost impossible. We are asked to stay at home to contain the virus, but few people think about how not everyone has a safe home to isolate in, reliable access to food and other necessities, or the ability to stay home from work. We say that this pandemic is hard on everyone and in turn assume that one’s problem has to be severe for them to consider getting mental health support. As we progress in society, it is easy to take things for granted and assume that everyone has the same privileges. We hope that future chapters will continue to be mindful of this and look for ways to help.
